It's my Birthday today.

I'm 27.
4th-Nov-2012 10:09 pm - Assassin's Creed III
So, I got Assassin's Creed III when it came out. So far, it's been pretty damn awesome. I'm not even a quarter of the way through, so I don't want to say anything about it yet until I played through it.

Let's just see where this game goes and if it stays as awesome as it is (Unlike Revelations, which was a bit of a dissapoint, but still an okay game.)
2nd-Apr-2012 08:06 pm - Gonna start Tomorrow!
Gonna start at the Art Institute tommorow! English first, then Color Theory on Thursday and Saturday!

They also gave me a HUGE rolling backpack full of stuff. Seriously, when they told me I was going to get a starter kit, I expected like a few pencils and some paper, not a ginormous bag full of supplies. Shows you how much I know about College huh?

Anyway, I'm super excited about starting finally!

Funny random thing: There's a nesting goose and her mate right outside the front doors. He stands guard right in front of the doors, and doesn't like it when you walk by. He hisses and goes after anyone who passes by. So, I'm off to face the goose as well, lol.
31st-Mar-2012 04:19 pm - Art College Part 2
If all goes well, I'm starting classes on Monday.
29th-Mar-2012 09:55 pm - Art College
Okay, so the other day, I went on a tour of the Illinois Art Institiute in Schamburg. I really like how things look there, so I'm going back on Saturday to apply.
22nd-Mar-2012 10:50 pm - College Hunting
So I applied for a couple colleges today, for a Bachelor's Degree in either Fine Arts, Illustration or Game Art. I did one On-Line and one campus. I'm also going to scope out a couple others on Tuesday and next Tuesday.

Hopefully one goes through.
6th-Mar-2012 08:40 pm - FINALLY got the roots out today...
I FINALLY got my tooth roots out today.

Although I did embarass myself a bit, because the dentist put Novicane in my mouth, but she didn't use any topical numbing, so it kind of hurt. My arm spazzed at one point and I hit her on accident. I sat on my hands for the rest of the time to prevent any more embarassing flailing.

Anyway, with the roots, they were out in like two seconds. I was really nervous that I was going to have to be put under, but nope, just one, two three and they popped right out. It doesn't even hurt at all, just where she put the Novicane in does a little.

I also had three roots on my tooth, which intrigued the dentist and the Nurse because they never saw three roots at once before. Granted, it was pretty cool looking.
29th-Feb-2012 02:03 pm - The past three days...
Well, I found out yesterday that my brother has Epilepsy.

It all started Saturday night. We were all chilling in different rooms, when all of a sudden, we heard a boom come from my Brother's room. We thought he just dropped something, but when my Mom went in to check, she started yelling "Call 911!" I looked in, and saw my brother going into convulsions. Holy shit, you want to know what terrified feels like, imagine seeing that...

My other Brother came in, and I helped put my brother on the bed until the Paramedics arrived. At this point we had no idea what the hell could've caused it because he showed no signs before. So, we took him to the Emergency room, and he seemed fine, he was up and talking, just had no idea what the hell happened. So, we took him home that night because the doctor seemed to think he would be all right and asked if we felt comfortable taking him home and we all agreed that we were.

So, we took him home at around 3:30 in the morning, explained what happened, and he went to lay down A few hours later he had another one. So, it was back to the hospital and a three day stay in which they did a MRI, CAT and a Spinal Tap, which thankfully were all normal, but the EKG they did showed seizure activity, which the doctor said, since everything else was normal, was definitely a form of Epilepsy which doesn't ususally kick in until tennage years, which would explain why he wasn't showing any symptoms before.

So, we came home last night, and Bro is on anti-seizure medication, and can't drive for three months. He hasn't had another seizure since Saturday night and appears to be doing fine. Let's just hope everything stays that way.
14th-Feb-2012 05:54 pm - Teeth! Part 2
Okay, so today, I went to go get my other tooth pulled. So, the numbed me, poked around, same old thing they did on my other tooth. Except this time, it was a little different. The dentist was prodding around trying to get my tooth out. She got the top part out, but the root was stuck. She told me "It's really loose, but it's stuck on the bone." She kept trying for a little while longer, until she went "Okay, the tooth is stuck and has to be cut out of the bone." Well, that's just peachy. So, she called a tooth extraction specialist, and I have an appointment on Thursday to get the roots out of my mouth. This one actually hurts, due to all the poking and pulling. The other one wasn't so bad, but this one...ouch.

Hopefully, everything goes smoothly on Thursday.
2nd-Feb-2012 12:27 am - Teeth! Part One
So, I FINALLY got my tooth pulled. It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. There's a little pain though, due to me having a big bone that the Dentist had to work on for a little longer than usual (She said it usually takes 45 minutes to an hour. Mine took an hour and a half) but other than that, it's fine. I'm on anti-biotics and Tylenol, so it's not bad at all.

I also looked at the pulled tooth. It was all rotted in the back and smelled like ass and also had a "thing" (Dentists words, not mine) on the root. It was worse than what I imagined it looking. Either way I'm glad the damn thing is out. Now onto the other tooth...
